Terms of Service

Any balance maintained in your ButterMeUpBakery user account is strictly for use toward future purchases on our website. These funds are non-refundable and cannot be withdrawn as cash.

All purchases must be paid in full at the time the order is placed. Because our products are perishable and made-to-order, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued for orders that are not picked up.

In the event that ButterMeUpBakery must cancel an order due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be issued to the original form of payment.

Currently, we offer local pickup only. While we may offer delivery or shipping in the future, customers are responsible for collecting their orders at the scheduled time and location.

Grace Period: We offer a 30-minute grace period for scheduled pickups. If you are running late, you must contact us before your window ends to reschedule. If an order is not collected within 1 hour of the window closing without prior communication, the order is considered abandoned and forfeited without refund.

All products are produced in a home kitchen operating under Michigan Cottage Food Law. This kitchen is not subject to public health inspections.

Our kitchen processes milk, eggs, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts (pecans), soy, and sesame. We cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. By purchasing, you acknowledge this risk.

Every item we bake is handmade. As a result, there may be slight variations in color, shape, or decoration compared to the photos displayed on our website. We guarantee the quality and taste, but celebrate the unique nature of artisan baking.
